Heart Month, Earth Day & New Smart Pockets for Spring!

Hello everyone,

Hope this edition finds you happy and Heart-Healthy! As we enter the Season of the Earth's Awakening and honoring her with our Earth Day Celebrations, I hope you find some small way to do so, with yourself and your loved ones...like planting a tree, doing better at recycling, or going more green and toxin-free with your cleaning products! Every little bit helps...and adds up to a big impact when we all do our share!
Our new Smart Pockets have arrived and because they will not be offered on my website until I have more of them in Stock, I thought I would at least provide you with Photos so you can see what is going to be offered. They are just a bit larger to accomodate the Droid Phones with the thicker cases, some eyeglasses and yes, even Mah Jongg cards! Some are vertical with Velcro Flaps and ID Holder/Windows. Greetings to you all!
Hope this Pre-Holiday time allows you some time to reflect and enjoy the beauty and the spirit of the season. Just remembering to try and keep it simple and meaningful seems to relieve lots of the stress...
I am in the midst of my Open House where my visitors are finding lots of great deals and savings. Not to worry,.... if you weren't able to be here. You will find some of the specials on my website where there are 'stocking stuffer specials' volume discounts on many items! You can always call for details also. Speaking of 'Stocking Stuffers', do not forget the power of the Hip Klip for an affordable, unique, practical gift. (Great gift for travelers, busy moms, and College bound!) Falling into Fall

I don't know about you, but I feel like where did 'Sum, Sum, Summertime' go?! It seems that the busier we get, the more the days and months fly by and here we are heading into September and lovely Fall. For the remaining Hot Days, the 'Fantastic Fans' continue to be a 'hot' item, especially for those of you in Texas! I can't imagine having that kind of heat, with no rain to cool things off! It seems that many of us are dealing with bad weather related issues, so our thoughts and prayers are for those of you that have been affected by such.

And now for the news for Judy's Gifts. When you visit my website, you will see a 'Say Hello' option. You would make my day, by talking to me and telling me how you use, or how a 'gift recipient' feels about about my Gift Line. Just a few words would be very powerful! Jumping into Summer in June

Happy Spring everyone!

I know many ot you who have experienced severe Winters, are welcoming the warmth and brilliance of Spring and its blossoms. We recently did a show in Raleigh, N.C. and I was overwhelmed with the beauty of all the blossoming trees! The colors were spectacular! It just took your breath away.

Speaking of beauty, with Earth Day just around the Corner, we are continuing the special on the Chic Sacs. Top O’ the mornin’ to ye!

It’s been a very busy February for Judy’s Gifts! Savannah is a wonderful city to visit, and we so enjoyed the Greek Festivals we have participated in. We have lots of specials and discounts going on for March, and lots of new designs for Hip Klips and Key Finders. We now have a new Khaki Passport Hip Klip in stock. The Bottoms Up wine glasses have been discounted and more new styles will be coming soon, such as ‘Fit & Fabulous’, ‘Queen of Shoes’, & ‘Lasting Friendships’. Stay tuned! 

Has your city or county become eco-friendly and banned plastic bags? If not, most likely there has been a new measure posted. Maybe your state has been discussing a plastic bag ban. Our

2011, A Year of Renewal and Energy!

Hello everyone,
Well we are well into 2011, and as we approach the new year, it is always a time for reflection, creating goals, and much optimism and energy. I am hopeful that the year ahead will be a time for recovery from the tough economic times for so many of us. I do see that there are 'glimmers of positive change', for the months ahead.  I wish to thank all of you who have made 2010, a year of great change and growth for me and my business. Your support and encouragement is always so much appreciated!
With the New Year, I am hoping to introduce many new designs and products to my website, such as 'Sassy Lady Designs' and the 'Pursenality Banks'. I also will have monthly specials, sales, discounts, and 'Free Shipping', so stay tuned! In February, I will have a Valentine Coupon for you to use and the new 'Houndstooth Passport Hip Klip' will be on introductory special! As you may know, the Passport series are about an inch larger that the other pockets, in order to accommodate Passports, some eyeglasses and the new larger phones with the thicker cases. The new 'Houndstooth Pocket' is fully screened, to make it water resistant, and is a very classy design. You can find it here.

Hello there!

Hope this time of year finds you preparing for your special moments of time with beloved friends and family and being grateful for our many blessings. We hear so much grumbling and complaining today, I think we forgot how to focus on all the positives in our lives. Turkey Day is so special because it helps us do just that...'BE THANKFUL!'

I have been very busy visiting many wonderful places and meeting some fabulous people at the many shows I do. The 'Hip Klips' are creating quite a buzz out there and are being very well-received. I have already been getting good feed-back and learning lots of new ways that people use them.

Here are a few: Teachers at Recess, Nurses while they are doing their care, Cruisers while they are 'On Deck!', Motorcyclers, runners, beach goers, moms with little ones, horse riders, ....The list goes on! Lots of requests for new colors of the larger 'Passport/I-Phone' Pocket and that will be coming in the next month or two...stay tuned! There is a new Pocket that has the HK Logo in a subtle black design, on a black pocket, that is perfect for those that want a sleek, neutral-colored pocket.

Key Finders are just as popular as ever. Wow! What powerful, enthusiastic feed-back I get from these! It is such a powerful little tool, that makes such a big impact on saving time for busy women! (and they are gorgeous 'purse jewelry', at the same time!) Have you seen the new raised/dimensional designs like the 'Honu',Hawaiian Sea Turtle, or the Lovely Ladybug? They are getting more exquisite with each design! Great to collect a few to coordinate with different bags. Speaking of Handbags, the Flip Flop Purse Hanger is back and it has a coordinating Key Finder! If you know someone who has never used one, it is such a much appreciated gift! I just read that Key Finders are one of the 'top five' gifts in the United States right now! Also, the newest Key Finders are the 'Gemstones!' What a great way to put some very usable bling under your gift recipients tree and they are offered at a new sale price, just for Holiday giving time! I have also added the 'Pop Up Fans' to my website. They fold up in their little pouch, so you always can have a cool breeze handy!! :-) I have named them 'Hot Flash Relievers!' Crime Clock Statistics for Purse Snatching

Hello there!
I have been hearing so much about 'Purse Snatchings' lately, that I thought I would offer you some helpful tips on the subject. In Manatee County, here in Florida, a 'Purse Snatching' occurs every 11.38 days. In the state of Florida, an incident happens every 5 hr. 58 minutes. The last statistics from 2008, said that in the USA, a snatching occurs every 15 min. 46 seconds! You don't want to be part of these 'Crime Clock Statistics!

How can it be prevented? Here are some tips.

1) Most importantly, remember Purse Snatching is a crime of opportunity, which can be prevented by taking away the opportunity! When you hide the 'prize', you protect yourself!
(get rid of that purse and use a 'Hip Klip!')

2) Only carry essentials in your purse. Credit Cards, currency, driver's license, keys and jewelry should be carried elsewhere, (in your Hip Klip) or concealed on your person. Wearing your purse (or Hip Klip) under your sweater or jacket makes it quite inaccessible! Today, fewer women are carrying purses.
Many women choose to carry a small billfold, coin purse, or Hip Klip! This eliminates a purse as a target and also frees up your hands to defend yourself!

3) Remember to be aware of your surroundings and if you must carry a purse, keep it in your line of vision and close to your body. Many purse snatchings occur when it is hanging on the back of your chair in a restaurant or public place. A great preventive tool is a Purse Hanger, which keeps your purse in view and prevents 'bagteria' at the same time!

4) Recently, I was chatting with a Deputy Sheriff, and he pointed out that another way to prevent 'opportunity', is to have your keys in-hand before you arrive at your car. Many women fumble and search for their keys while 'digging' through their large purses! If you have a 'Key Finder' perched on the edge of your purse, it makes locating your keys quickly and efficiently, possible.

I have a 'Testimonial' on my website from a friend, who was traveling abroad, and had her purse stolen from the back of her chair, in an upscale restaurant, with 7 other women present! She is now getting ready to leave for her next trip, armed with a 'Hip Klip' and a 'Purse Hanger!'
